Panoply Wood Products offers a unique lite weight panel by the name of Panoply LitePly.  The Paulownia core panel is approximately 25% lighter than a Poplar veneer core of the same size and thickness.  A thick 0.4mm Okume face and back are used so there is no core transfer. The calibrated core has poplar cross-bands under the face and back. The poplar cross-bands are used to insure the panel is stable and durable for multiple forms of lamination or lay-up.  Panoply LitePly plywood is a premium lite weight panel with thickness tolerance of +/- 0.2mm
